@Anonymous88 i did think that but it does look like a sore and i do feel a little tingly how likely is transmission in this scenario i know u cant say for sure is a minute enough contact for transmission im not sure if he would have had direct contact with it as its in a slightly awkward place like below opening toward peri anal areaa im having craxy anxiety over this and hes just told me he has a headache so of course im thinking the worst this happened Thursday night and Friday morning so 2 days ago, also thanks for the replies its much appreciated

Hi guys I have had a close call i had sex with my partner with what may have been prodrome i checked my self before having sex and saw Nothing although did feel a little tingle but i thought i was being paranoid my partner did penetrate me for maybe a minute with no condom but then i told him to put on a condom we had sex we also had sex the next morning with a condom i checked myself again after this and had a sore at the opening of my vagina im freaking out about transmission and how likely it may be any advice is welcome i know i need to try and be more alert im on acyclovir and he knows of my status how nuch contact is needed with the sore im a nervous wreck Thanks in advance everyone

Hey guys So i have just started taking aciclovir a suppresive dose of 400mg twice a day and just wanted to know how long it takes before it actually starts surpressing the virus and having an effect?

Hey @Ms. Congeniality yeah i also get montly obs every time im due on my period i a habe never taken any suppresive therapy but im abouut to start on some im hoping it helps.

Hey @Newbie123 Im here looking for my own answers but as ive been browsing the internet ive stumbled across a few posts where h has not been transmitted when having unprotected sex with an ob i guesss it depends on alot of factors but theres so much different info out there its so hard to know whats what, i hope everything works out for you keep us posted

@ @Strength123 thanks so much for your reply you've eased my mind a little its just so hard to find accurate information about whether he would have to come in actual contact with the sore for transmission to happen or whether there would be shedding elsewhere so confusing i guess its a waiting game now urgh i dont think i can do this anymore

Hi everyone This is my first post ever so ive had hsv2 for about 3 years my new partner is aware 1 day ago we had protected sex using a condom afterwards i realised that i am mid outbreak i have an open sore at the top of my butt crack ( sorry if tmi) now im so scared he will get this from me and i feel like absolute crap how likely is it that he will Pls help so scared
