  1. Do you white bumps below the skin on your top lip?
  2. Do you blood test positive for HSV, too? I've had no luck with blood test or swabs, but I often worry my swabs were done on symptoms that weren't able to be swabbed in the first place. I hope i'm not in the minority of people who only test positive through swab. My timeline of symptoms is odd. I had sex with a girl in May and a few days later she told me she was not sure if she had HSV or not due to the odd number of whiteheads that show up on her vagina. That same week I started getting itchy red bumps and rashes around my groin, and my scrotum turned red and itchy. That girl told me about 2 weeks later that she tested negative through blood work. I thought that meant I was in the clear. All summer I still had the itching. By this time I was seeing another person, and she complained that her vagina was itchy only after her and I had sex. This was someone I had dated before, and we never had this problem. We both went on a cruise in September and both of us came down with the flu when we came back. Both of us developed tingling on our lips, and we both developed small white bumps under the our top lip. The bumps have never gone away, and I still get tingling and burning sensations. The girl (now my ex) said her tingling went away. She also said the itching in her vagina went away after being treated for a yeast infection. Since coming down with that flu, I've had constant rectal itching (no doctor can explain why); constant itching and redness in my groin and scrotum with red bumps that show up for a few hours or a couple days; white heads that show up one at a time in the same place; burning and itchy eyes (eye doctor suspects herpes, but I need to get my eye swabbed still); tiny cuts on top lip that burn when salty or acidic foods touch it (I moisturize every day and nothing helps); I've had three paper cut-like tears on my penis shaft; fever blister in mouth; fungal infection on tongue; brain fog; dizziness and confusion; increased brain fog when sugar is consumed; fatigue; pain in my lower throat/upper chest when taking deep breaths; nerve pain on left hand and foot, occasional dull feeling in my urethra which causes me the urge to go pee frequently; red, blotchy skin on the head of my penis when I masturbate. All prescription meds I've taken have not worked. My primary care doctor thinks I've somehow done this to my own nerves by worrying so much. I've had two doctors tell me symptoms sound herpetic, but there is nothing for them to swab and the blood comes back negative. I will be seeing more specialists in the new year. My last blood test was in October. I've not taken the Western Blot nor taken anti virals. I'm afraid to date again for fear of someone else having HSV or me infecting someone with whatever I have. My doctor said I should live my life like I don't have HSV, but I'm just not confident I won't infect others. I should have got the cuts on my penis swabbed, but the doctor talked me out of it. I didn't know HSV is not typically screened for, so who knows if I've had it for a while. I doubt it, though.
  3. Even on days when I have no anxiety, I still get pain. I've noticed lately that eating food high in sugar makes my brain fog feel worse. Eating sugar is a known trigger of HSV. It still makes no sense that my ex-girlfriend and I both had the flu, developed tingling and tiny white bumps on our lips, and both had itching in the genitals. Explain that. . . I've had far too many symptoms in places where herpes lives to not think I have it. What else causes small cuts on penis, itchy anus and thighs, itchy and dry eyes, white bumps on lips, constant cuts on lips, cuts on side of the mouth, fatigue, brain fog, irregular red skin rash on penis and random spots of body, red itchy bumps in groin, whiteheads in groin, red scrotum.
  4. Minus the arm pit pain (maybe I did have it and wasn't aware), I have the same red dots you do.
  5. What do you constant outbreaks feel and look like?
  6. How often do you get the acne and how many show up at once? I’m also facing unexplained occurnaces of acne near my genitals, but blood work has been negative
  7. Keep this thread updated when after you get swabs and or blood tests. I had similar symptoms to you after unprotected sex and oral.
  8. Do you still think you have HSV or have you tested positive for it?
  9. That is not really an easy ask for multiple reasons.
  10. They weren’t sure if they did. They tested negative through blood, but I broke out in red, itchy bumps in my groin soon after we had sex. I asked what her symptoms were and she said pimples on her vagina, which I later learned were symptoms that some people get when they have herpes. I now get pimples in my groin in the same spots often, and that never used to happen until after unprotected sex. She had the bumps after sex, too, but was given fungal and bacterial cream to fix the problem. She said she’s been fine since, but I’ve been having mystery symptoms in my groin, penis, anus, eyes. lips, and nerve since the sex.
  11. The corners of my lips get dry and irritated (red colored). I'm not sure I know what the hives look like you are describing. Do you have links to photos that look similar? I still have not tested positive, but I've scoured this forum and others, and found I have so many similar symptoms to those that have HSV. This all started after unprotected sex. I don't understand what else could cause herpes-like symptoms. Did your red spots start appearing after you had unprotected sex?
  12. For those who have HSV, did you find out after swabbing what looked like a pimple? Im trying to determine how many people this has happened to
  13. Update: My PCP told me yesterday that he will not pursue referring me or entertaining the idea I have HSV. He thinks I’m causing my nerves to overstimulate. He wants me to take Cymbalta. I don’t buy it.
  14. I’ve not tested positive for HSV. Have you passed it to anyone else? How did you test positive for HPV?
  15. UPDATE: Saw my primary care doctor today. He admitted that he cannot understand why I'm having so many odd symptoms or why a girl I was seeing acquired similar symptoms from me. He said after examining the facts, he thinks I have caused my own nerves to become out of control, so he wants to prescribe me a medication to relax my nerves. I think that is a horrible diagnosis of such far reaching symptoms. He could not explain or attempt to explain why I: Have white bumps on my top lip and why top lip is constantly chapped and the skin is cracked Bleed from my mouth every night Have paper cuts on my penis. What there are clusters of itchy, red bumps on my inner groin that won't go away. Have fullness in my ear Why I am fatigued, feel a crawling sensation in my brain, and why I am feeling daily bouts of dizziness and confusion. How I passed some symptoms on to another person.
  16. This is EXACTLY what happened to me after unprotected sex. I was even prescribed the same medication as you were. 6 months on and my doctors can not explain why I still have the red, burning scrotum; burning scrotum skin, peeling skin on penis, or the red bumps.
  17. I don't get the sores that people normally associate with herpes, but the red spots I get sure do itch and some are painful.
  18. Doctors have said - balanitis, "irritation," fordyce, "I don't know," stress, skin irritation that happens that I need to just deal with, possible ocular hepres, heretic symptoms. I've been prescribed Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide, Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate cream, Desonide 0.05, Nystatin (this was for a bacterial issue with my tongue, and it mostly went away), Blink tears, Refresh Liquigel, and Acyclovir (I refuse to take it until I am diagnosed. I don't want to unnecessarily take it or take it for a short time and then have symtpoms come back)
  19. Blister was negative, but I never know if it was swabbed too late or was nothing to worry about in the first place. I'm not sure when my next test is. I have to try to convince my current doctor --who is already dismissive-- to approve the Western Blot for me to take. My insurance changes in the new year, and I should have an easier time seeing the doctors I want to see. I might start back up with tests then.
  20. It depends on which part of my body you are referring to. The mouth tingling is not constant, but the small cuts/constant chapped are. The red bumps on my groin are daily. The feeling of confusion and fatigue comes and goes. The nerve pain comes and goes. The anal itching is almost constant. The cuts on penis was about a month long ordeal, and has not returned. However, the skin is still pink looking - almost like a scar. The eye itching and pain has lasted about a week. I'm not sure if this another new symptom that will come and go.
  21. I too had the high fever and cuts on penis. The skin of my testicles and base of penis is also red and itchy. The latter has been around for 6 months. The girl I was seeing also developed a flu at the same time as me, but had itchy near the vagina. I'm not sure if she had cuts. Her symptoms are gone, but mine are still there. No bloods tests or swabs have come back positive for me, but I think it's suspicious my symptoms match so many on here. Some are quick to tell me it's in my head or that I don't have herpes, but nobody can offer an alternative for the herpetic symptoms I've had for 6 months. No creams have worked for me.
