  1. Mine went away when I started taking oregano oil and magnesium. Start with a single dose and see how it works for you. I take both of them daily, and it stopped the tingling in about a week. So give it time to work and don’t just give up if it doesn’t work immediately. I have another post I made about this, and other people with herpes have tried it and had great success as well. Good luck!!
  2. Sorry I’m just seeing this, I couldn’t tell you how many milligrams, I think just start with a dose and see how it works for you, and up the dosage if it’s not taking affect. It started working for me in two days, and I’m sure it’s different for everyone. But just try it out and react accordingly. Good luck!!
  3. Hey all. I’ve had hsv2 for 2 years now, and I’ve always disclosed to anyone that I potentially wanted to have sex with. But now that I’ve had it for 2 years, I’m just wondering if that’s really necessary? I obviously don’t want to give it to anyone else, but I take Valtrex every day along with vitamins that fight viruses, and always use condoms. If I’m taking all the right precautions do I still need to disclose? I know it’s harder for men to contract hsv2 than it is for women to get it. And I have had sexual partners that I disclosed to that didn’t even care about wearing a condom knowing I have it, and never got it. So I’m just trying to get some advice regarding that. Not like I sleep around all the time with random men, but I do like to have an active sex life. No judgements please, just honest comments. Thank you!
  4. Thank you. Those are great points. I just never ever wanted to give this to another person, so I think the thought of someone else not caring just wasn't even something I could fathom.
  5. So, I may have given my hsv2 to my new boyfriend. This is the first time I have dated in 3 years. I told him before we had sex that I had it, and he said he had no problem with it, and that his ex wife had it. You can imagine how relieved I was to hear that. He wanted to have sex with me, with no condom. I told him I thought it was a bad idea and I was worried about him getting it from me. He still stated he didn't care. But now he's coming down with the classic symptoms...he was just tested today. So we will find out soon. He says he's not upset and he knew the risks, but I feel terrible. I'm going to feel absolutely awful if I have given this to him. And I still feel like if he does actually have it, he won't want to see me anymore. I don't know what to do...
  6. Wow. I've only had this virus since September of 2018. Have been missing so much work and other fun bits of my life due to some of rhe same things. I assumed it was a thyroid problem and just went to get blood work done yesterday to find out. That's crazy you share the same things.
  7. So sorry...but to clarify, the virus has cause nausea, vomiting, extreme fatigue, and joint pain all the time? How about head aches?
  8. Oragano oil capsles taken 1 every day completely took my tingles away. I take 1 capsle every other day or every 2 days now, and still haven't had any. Its a miracle vitamin for herpes!
  9. Do your research on oragano oil. It works wonders for everything and fights viruses like herpes.
  10. I have had wonderful success with the oregano oil! I suggest everyone to try it. You can find it at sprouts in little capsules, and I take one every day along with my suppressants and other vitamins. It truly is very helpful with all symptoms!
  11. Shoot me a message and we can talk. I'm a female with hsv2 as well.
  12. The right person will accept every part of you, including the virus. Take your daily suppressants, take virus fighting and immune supporting vitamins, and fill his head with facts. Like doing all those things along with wearing a condom, gives him a 1% chance of getting it. To put it into perspective there is a 1.8% chance you can get into a car accident. Arm yourself with facts and give him space to think it over. If he cant deal with it, you move on. Like I said, the right person wont care. I promise.
  13. Might I suggest reporting these people to their superiors? Completely unprofessional and a fireable offense. Other than that, you are not unwanted, you are not gross. I know this is a hard thing to wrap your head around, everyone struggles when they first learn they have the virus. But remember, this virus is VERY common, and it is a very sneaky virus, you can get it from something as simple as someone with a cold sore that goes down on you. Most people don't even know they have it. This virus doesn't change who you are, it adds something to your personality. Telling future partners seems scary, but if you've read up on it, know your facts, and are confident when talking about it, odds are you won't have a problem. That doesn't mean you won't run into women who aren't comfortable with it, because odds are you will. And that is okay! It happens! If you want to talk more, feel free to message me and I'll tell you what helped me to gain my confidence back and get out there again. Best of luck!
  14. I would like to know about this as well. Just posting here for update.
  15. I haven't had any stomach issues. And I'm super sensitive to everything haha. Not sure what to say about the itchy skin with the magnesium though, I'd talk to your doctor about that.
  16. I highly suggest taking magnesium and oregano oil once daily. I'm on valtrex and it made the blisters go away, but all my other symptoms stayed. Started looking into things to help, and not only does magnesium help to make your nerves healthier, but it made all other symptoms stop (for me) within 3 hours. Oregano oil pills fight against viral infections so thats why I started taking that daily, and you can find it at sprouts. I also started taking a urinary tract vitamin daily as well, and that significantly reduced the buring, stinging pain when urinating. I really urge anyone with this virus to give these things a try as it has helped me a lot. Again I take: 250 mg of magnesium Uva Ursi (Arctostaphylos) by, Solaray (for urinary tract health) Oregano oil 150mg softgels Found them all at sprouts. And take them all once, every single day along with my 1000mg of Valtrex every day, I also take Cymbalta every day to keep my stress levels low, to prevent outbreaks. Good luck! Oh and I have HSV2. I have had great success in doing these things.
  17. The itching your feeling is most likely the tingling nerve itch things most people with H get. Taking magnesium and oregano oil daily made mine stop completely where as I was feeling it all day every day. For those who want to shave. I use 2 electronic trimmers. They get close enough cut that it feels smooth for the most part and looks clean, but not so much that it gives me razor burn or makes me break out with H. If others don't work give tthat a try. They have many different types at Ulta

  22. Buy some magnesium supplements and oregano oil pills (got mine at sprouts), and take one daily. I had itching like that and I started taking those, and within 3 hours of taking them the itching stopped.. hope this helps and works for you!
  23. Good luck Jenn88! If those don't work I really would try the magnesium. That's what I started out with and it had significantly reduced the itch 3 hours after I took it.
  24. So I have been dealing with the tingling sensations for over a month now, it was constant. I couldn't sleep, I was constantly wiggling and trying to escape the feeling that "things were crawling on me" and I just felt awful. I have been on Valtrex and that did nothing to help with the tingles. So I started doing my own research, started trying things one by one. And low and behold taking magnesium and oregano oil pills once a day, every stopped it. I do still get small ones, every so often. But I can sleep and live a normal life now. I really hope this may help someone who may be struggling with the awful tingles. This is not the end of our lives, we got this. Good luck y'all. 🙂
