Hi Jenn I also was diagnosed with hsv2 a few weeks ago and still having outbreaks. You do feel the emotions of pain, anger and sadness but it will subside some. Remember that you are you don’t let it live your life...live your life with it and try focusing on the good. I also felt the dirty feeling after I was diagnosed but have come to accept it and take my meds regularly. It will get better I promise. Lori
