Does anyone know the statistics on hsv1 Genital to Genital?

Yes, I know. But the gyno looked at it and on visual inspection said it was herpes... she only ran blood test.. igg and igm.. both came back negative. But at that point, only 2 weeks went by, so if I had antibodies to would be to soon to read... right?

So I think I had my first outbreak 2 weeks ago. It’s questionable... my test came back negative, and it was in a weird spot. Like inside of my vagina, which I heard is a weird place for an outbreak. I had white dots but the disappeared in a day and then it felt like a really really bad yeast infection. I slept with the guy two weeks prior. He did not go down on me. We only had sex. He stuck the tip of his penis in me thinking I wouldn’t notice he didn’t have a condom on. Anyway, he got tested.. and he tested positive for hsv1. Said he’s never had a cold sore and never had an outbreak. He was <39.00.. what are the chances he has ghsv1 and gave it to me? Like how likely is that?

I hate to say this, but the body and mind is such a powerful thing. It sounds like you have high anxiety, as do I. Sometimes if I Obsess about something to much, I feel those symptoms. Legit, I can make my vagina feel like it’s on fire just about obsessing that I have something. If you want to know for sure, for sure. Take the western blot test.. if it’s been 12 weeks, it’s the most accurate test out there.

And does anyone have pictures of what herpes looks like? Because everything I find on the internet looks real extreme and looks nothing like what I had. But then again, I was on a anti viral? Which I don’t know if that stops a first outbreak?

Tuesday went into the doctors with a itchy Libia majora (outer lips)... she took a look inside my vagina and saw a cluster of white tiny little dots inside my liba minora (inner lips) she put me on anti viral, the sores didn’t turn into anything. They kinda just disappeared after a day. Never opened, but it was itchy... not the sores itself but the outer lips were so very very itchy. The inside the Liba minora wasn’t bothered at all. I could pee fine, no sores were opening. I did have a green discharge and an awful smell... anyway, she took a blood test, both igg and igm the time of the outbreak, both came back negative. Based on looking at it, she for sure thought it was herpes. I had sex with a guy on September 20th then again September 27th. And I had this outbreak on October 2nd. So within the 2-10 infection date. I’m waiting for results from this guy to see if he has it. I’m kinda already convinced I have herpes because I’ve never experienced symptoms like this before in my life and it falls in line with this guy and infection date. But it’s weird that my blood work came back negative... even during an outbreak? Unless this wasn’t an outbreak and something else... I’m just curious, have any of you been in this situation before? Where you were on an active outbreak and the blood work came back negative? The same doctor who said I had herpes based on visual inspection, then assured me there’s no way I have herpes because it was on a weird spot and the blood work came back negative. But I’ve been reading that doctors don’t know anything, and shouldn’t be making promises like this. And I could still have it. I just really want a yes you have it or no you don’t so I can stop wondering and just move forward and take care of this.

She did both test. Both negative.

Guys. I need advice and help. I went to the doctors because I had lesions on my vagina. The doctor said, yup it’s herpes. She did blood work, for exposure and past infections, and it came back negative.. both... she said no. You don’t have herpes... however, I still have lesions, and I had sex with a guy 12 days before I had an outbreak... I feel like I have all the symptoms of herpes, swollen glands, tingling butt... lesions on the inside of my vagina!! How accurate are these blood work test?

What’s everything you’re taking?

Were you on a surpressant? How many out breaks did you get s year?

We’re you on a daily suppressiont before this outbreak?

First off! Thank you for everyone who responds. Im just curious how often do you guys have a break out? And what are some things and studys that you have found to stop the break outs. I was just diagnosed on Tuesday, and I know I don’t ever ever want to experience this pain ever ever ever again.

Has anyone experience getting infected with both oral and Genital herpes at the same time? You see I have oral sex before I had sex with this one guy. I broke out down there first. Which is so insanely odd because this douche bag was being cocky and arrogant when I asked for him to put a condom on, and he’s like “come on” and he just shoved it in me..: and I was like no, put it on. So he did... but it was in me for 5 seconds..... crazy that 5 seconds did this. However, I did give him head first for 10 mins... so I can only imagine I have it in my mouth too? Correct? I keep looking at my lips constantly waiting for something to show up... will I have a out break at the same time as my Genitals?

I was just diagnosed on Tuesday for having this awful awful disease. Minday night, I had itching, and I’m so prone to yeast infections, I thought oh Jeeze here’s another one. Let me go to the doctors in the morning and get some medication because I’m just a baby when it comes to my vagina. Everything hurts. The doctor looked and said “hun it’s herpes”... well... wasn’t expecting that... she put me on Aciclovir and I took it within an hour. I take it 3 times a day for 5 days. Today is my fourth day. I look at my vagina religiously... I have lesions, but there not growing or shrinking.. it’s very very very itchy... so fucking itchy. I had to go to New York this weekend and Monday I’m suppose to be walking around the city. I guess my my question is, while on medicine, will these lesions break? And if they do, is that the most painful part of herpes? And what happens when I run out of my medicine and I still have lesions? And how in gods name do I stop the freaking itch!!!
