Hello.. how long did the outbreak last? I was so swollen for 3 days could hardly walk. Took 4 days off of work. I’m so confused how I got this 9 months after being with same guy.

Nearly threw up when she said herpes. Went for bloodwork and it’s type 2. Another week will tell me if it’s recent or from a while ago. I’m sad, depressed, missing work and no motivation to do anything. Help me please
