i just got a brazillian wax (something i do once a month) and this time a few hours after having it done i have been feeling really sensitive and im really red down there and looks kinda swollen. not sure if this is an outbreak or just cause the girl wasnt so gentle doing it. anyone know?

hi can you please tell me what or if people take for herpes 1? my boyfriend just left planned parenthood. he wanted to take valtrex and the woman told him you don't take that for herpes 1. is this true?? what do people do for herpes 1?

im very confused because he just left planned parenthood and they are telling him for herpes 1 u dont take meds when he asked to be on valtrex. is this true??

ok i'll tell him. it's hard because he doesn't have alot of money and is waiting on his medicare to come through. hes going to planned parenthood monday to get his own prescription maybe they will be able to help . thanks for your inisght

hi my boyfriend has what we believe to be a herpes 1 outbreak on his face since he was diagnosed with it in January. He has been taking my valtrex almost everyday for the past month or month and a half since he was diagnosed but it's still not going away. has anyone ever had this happen and if so what can he do to make it stop?? hes so depressed i dont know what to do because if he's taking the medicine every day its supposed to go away after 5 days my dr said.

also do you know if its true if the only way he can get 2 is if we have sex when im having an outbreak? or can he catch it even if i am not having an outbreak

wow really..i was having like a white discharge but the itchinness has stopped as has my boyfriends. i called my gyno today and they told me over the phone its probably a yeast infection. but i'm really not sure and now that you say i could have been having an outbreak as could he have it may make sense but i really dont know what to think now

is the only way to tell if i am having an outbreak is when i urinate it burns? the reason i ask is because me and my boyfriend recently had sex a few days ago and are now both itching below the belt. does anyone know what this could mean? my boyfriend was just tested recently he was positive for herpes 1 and i was positive for herpes 2. Today he looked down and had a small cut on his balls (sorry to be blunt) but he is unsure if its herpes or not. we both take valacyclovir everyday and i thought if you both take the medicine every day he wouldn't be able to get herpes 2. sorry i know this is alot of questions but if anyone has any insight i'd really appreciate it.

Hi I am new to this site. I just recently found out i have herpes 2 and my boyfriend has herpes1. My boyfriend is still in the process of getting health insurance and has been taking my valtrex but can't afford a doctor right now. Does anyone know anywhere in the NYC tristate area who can write a prescription that isn't expensive and also what medicine is better acyclovir? Any help anyone has i really appreciate. ( I heard Walmart has the cheapest prescription rate but thats in NJ)
