How long should I wait after an outbreak to have intercourse again? Sores are not present anymore....I have heard a week? I know that I am still contagious no matter what and my boyfriend understands. But I did just have a mild outbreak and want to know what's the recommended time to wait? Thank you!!

Hey guys....For those of you who have taken acyclovir for a while now...any serious side effects? I just finished a 10 day course and I am considering taking it for suppression...my boyfriend is H - . I researched and some of the info scared me a bit...liver failure????

I was diagnosed w hsv 1 genitally in february...my initial acyclovir dose was 800mg three.times a day..I had a pretty bad first ob...since then ive been on a suppressive does of 400mg a day......now just got thru my second ob last week...so I took three a day of the 400mg. Now im back to my suppressive dose. Two days ago something weird hit me fast and hard...chills..aches..headache...lightheadedness..and a non itchy rash on the sides of my tummy. Im scared. I made an appointment to see my primary dr on tuesday. Im worried its due to acyclovir. Anyone experienced this before? Sound familiar? Any comments will help...thank u!

Its not the size that matters...but how the man works it;) second OB is pretty much clearing up.....gosh so much easier than my intial ob..that sh** was not joke....he told.me yesterday as he held me... I cant wait to be inside u again :) made me feel pretty awesome.....oh the small things the herp makes u appreciate:)

Hey guys...im officially having my second OB.....its not near as bad as my first..but its still pretty intese..new guy im dating is completely supportive and sweet. I feel like its me that is ruining things......he tells me he knew the risks and he is fine with it. Im just driving myself insane thinking hes just going to change his mind.....how can I get out of this rut???

Im going on my fourth date with this great guy...(nothing physical yet) and yesterday I decided to let him know about my HSV 1. I was so nervous telling him.....but he handled it well! He said its alot harder to get rid of him. I sent him the ebook and he is willing to take the risk! It felt so good to be honest with him. Showing him that I was well educated on the topic and I didnt let it control helped him alot!
