So my GP and Dermatologist both tell me that they don't see anything typical of herpes. But they did tell me to get a blood test just in case. Both said they were confident it would be negative. As I wait I just can't imagine what else it could be.
I have no known allergies and have changed nothing in my life the last year.
had one sexual encounter with a woman of unknown status (protected vaginal, unprotected oral)
2 days later, itchiness (this has lasted 5 weeks now and has not subsided even after taking anti-fungal pills, creams, scabies cream, and testing for bacteria in my blood - which I did not have apparently).
also I have had these red dots on my glans penis (penile head) since day 2 or 3 as well and they have not gone away. They look like very faint freckles or something. Possibly brown or red is color. Looks like its slightly below the skin or something. It is not raised. The dermatologist and doctor both said it doesn't look to be STD related.
I have also recently started feeling itchy (same itch I've been having this whole time on my groin and anus area) in my urethra.
I am at a loss and really believe that I have herpes. I don't believe it could be some crazy coincidence. The female was tested for all STD's and came back negative for all. The negative herpes test isn't promising though as her last encounter before me was only 4 weeks previous (before me) & unprotected.
I feel that I am either having a long initial outbreak, or one that came initially and took a day or two off, and is now back again. And I am just one of those people who don't show the "common symptoms."
Furthermore I believe that these patients (those who do not present common symptoms) are very common and the medical field does not know how to diagnose them. They just prescribe drugs and creams to take care of the symptoms but never really figure out what the root problem is. Meanwhile we are transmitting this to others.
Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.
