  1. If its any consolation my ass hurts to sit down too.... It always gets you down more when you are in the middle of an outbreak.... Once you have been to the docs and sorted some medication you'll forget you even have the condition!!! X
  2. I think you have had a lucky escape, if he couldn't handle a couple of cold sores every few months imagine how many other common relationship issues he would have walked out on??? Plenty more toads in the pond, or fish in the sea whichever way you wanna say it :-) x
  3. Thanks for the info... Even if it can't be contracted through towels ect I still wouldn't allow my children to use a towel or flannel which I have used... So during an outbreak I tend to wash towels underwear pajamas etc a lot more!!! I just prefer to be extra vigilant during an outbreak... I feel a little better today the pain isn't so intense!! :-)
  4. Even though I caught this virus 10 years ago there's so much I don't know, seems as though I'm in the right place!!
  5. I'm not sure kath, I'm always paranoid when I have a blister just in case???
  6. It's just a pain in the ass (literally) I live with my 2 children and I'm always paranoid about passing it on somehow, towels/ flannels etc!! Nobody knows about my little visitors so it's good to just tell someone openly that I'm in pain :-)
  7. Currently feeling very very sorry for myself have a blister which has been an unwelcome guest since Thursday, it's gone past the aching stage and I'm onto the really intense itching and stinging :-( only a couple more days I hope!!!
  8. Hello everyone, I'm actually filling up with tears reading some of the supportive posts on here!! I am desperate to talk with somebody in a similar position to myself... I am in the UK but even an online support network would be wonderful.... Thanks x
