I have hsv2 and my partner more than likely has it too. After we have had sex he has noticed tiny little bumps on his neck that feel like they are burning and painful. Has anyone experienced this as part of herpes and what can he do to reduce the pain / reoccurrence? Thanks so much

I have just been diagnosed with hsv2 genital herpes and feel confused about the information regarding transmitting it to a partner. I read that I can pass through skin to skin contact even without any visible symptoms so can I pass my herpes onto my partner through exchange of saliva by kissing or body contact by cuddling?? Would really appreciate any knowledge people have about this, thank you.
