  1. Hey! I am in a similar position to you, I am also on mood stabilisers for similar reasons and it was a massive trigger for me with regards to mood swings at first! I am also 22 :) However 2 years later I don't even care, no symptoms and no problems! Doesn't effect me at all and everyone accepts it! So my advice would be to not let it get the better of you and see it for what it is and it's not a big deal! I wish I would have realised that sooner haha
  2. Okay thanks, just considering I do not get outbreaks anyway it does make me question whether or not it is worth it, however I do want to minimise my risk of transmission, decisions! Does it make that much difference?
  3. i have taken this before for the initial outbreak and it was fine, its not particularly bothering me, i just am unsure if it would be working? or was i more effective as i was?
  4. Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this situation, so i was diagnosed about 2 years ago and have had very minor/ no symptoms since then, however recently i started taking aciclovir 2 times a day for suppression purposes, since then things seem to have only gotten worse? mostly just itching and tingling etc but nothing visible, why could this be?
  5. Thanks! wow, I didn't know it was so low. Great news :)
  6. Just needed some advice, I have had no outbreaks other than initial one about 2.5 years ago (despite a stress and bad uni diet haha) its so mild that I forget i have it most of the time lol! if I was to take suppressive meds and use protection what would be the odds of passing? (I am female)
