@ash128083 I had tonsillitis last week and I think this maybe triggered the OB. I’ve had H for 2 years and haven’t had an OB in a long time so I almost forget I have it. So I’m still learning I guess and feel quite clueless still. I’m hoping after this OB I won’t get one again for a while but this is like the first OB. It’s totally drained me. Constant discomfort...I don’t know what I’d do.

I’ve just ordered lysine 1000mg. I haven’t had an outbreak in a year and I don’t take any meds or vitamins but this OB is almost as bad as my first! Will the lysine help? I’ve also bought Melissa extract and propolis vitamins...has anyone heard anything good about these? I’m also using coconut oil to ease the pain of the sores.

Why 3months? I've been trying to see him sooner but every day I call there's no appointments. I feel cheated, like I can't even look at my partner for this. I feel like he's ruined my life.

I've been in a committed relationship for a few years, it had been a few weeks since my partner and I had slept together, after we did for the first time in a few weeks, about 3 days later I started showing symptoms and everything I researched online pointed to H. I guess I had my first OB and it was the most horrific thing I've been through. I've been waiting to see my Dr, I'm going next week. But I've talked to my partner and he says he doesn't have it. I'm so confused how I have it. How is it even possible? My whole life I've never had anything close to this and very healthy otherwise. I'm so confused and feel I'll never have a full relationship again and even having children seems impossible. I literally feel so low.
