Has anyone experienced loss of appetite during first OB? I can't eat and I'm not hungry, also on Valtrex not sure if maybe that is a side effect?

My doctor just called I was negative for type 2 but positive to type 1. BUT it's on my vag, and the last guy I was with did not have a sore on his mouth or anything. Or that he noticed I guess?? Can this lay dormant as well and pop up whenever on my vagina? I am literally going through the most painful first outbreak ever.

How long did it take your sores to heal? Im going on day 4 and I am in SO much pain. I've been on Valtrex for 3 days now and I feel like it hasn't helped much? I helped my itching by taking an epsom salt bath and letting everything air out or use an ice pack down there

I have not been diagnosed "yet". I am still waiting on my test results. A couple days ago I noticed a couple bumps around my labia that hurt, I went to my Dr and she says it looks like herpes, and I have bacterial vaginosis. She put me on an antiviral, buT I feel like it's not doing anything. My vagina is now absolutely covered in what appear to be herpes sores. The pictures I see online do not show this many sores around the vaginal area. I'm starting to freak out, as it is SO painful. How long do more sores tend to show up? And is having a "ton" of sores normal for a first OB?
