Does anyone have any experience with using one's Facebook profile/page/wall to announce one's herpes condition so as to come out of the closet and into the light of day?

Just uploaded my picture. I know how nice it is to be able to put a face to a name. I honor those who have posted their picture and at the same time I respect the right of those who have chosen not to do so at this time.

Hi everybody. I'm brand new to (h)opportunity and was inspired by WCSDancer2013's discussion threads posted back in November-December 2013 about coming out of the closet about one's herpes. It sounds like WCSDancer2013 used Facebook as her vehicle for going public regarding her herpes and I was wondering how that approach might work best for me. Anyone out there have experience with this? Your comments will be much appreciated. Thanks for having me in the community. Mike (Trumpeter2017)
