I recently contacted HSV 2 from my new boyfriend. He had no symptoms whatsoever. I had an extremely bad OB but I’M STILL ALIVE!! We are still together and I’m seeing him soon. The question I have is if I give him oral sex will I contract HSV 1? I really don’t want both!! It’s the ‘no symptoms’ thing that has me stressing...

Please can anyone tell me if they had these too? Mine are so bad I haven’t been able to eat in much in about 5 days

I had sex with my new partner (first one for years) last Saturday and after a few days started get symptoms. At first I thought it was a UTI but it got worse and worse. Finally got some antibiotics (I’m abroad) but made no difference and the pain down got so bad. Then the innocent little mouth ulcer I had got worse. And worse. Then I got flu like symptoms. Now I’m in the airport trying to get home with all of the above. I’m on back to back pain killers and when they wear off it makes me cry because the pain is so bad. I haven’t been able to eat properly for days because my mouth ulcers are so painful. Please tell me if this is normal for first OB and when will it end??
