Hello everyone, 24 y/o male here. I contracted the HSV-2 virus about 2 months ago. The outbreak lasted about 2 weeks; I haven't and a reoccurring one yet. I went through the whole "my life is over stage" for about the first month and a half. I can safely say the thoughts of depression/anxiety/agony and loneliness are no longer part of my daily routine. Okay. I met someone at school about three weeks ago and we hit it off. I disclosed about five days ago (my first disclosure ever); it was a success. She said it wasn't that big of a deal. We have yet to have sex yet but are planning on it this week. So my question is, what is the absolute safest way to go about having sex? I couldn't live with myself if I transmitted this to her. Any knowledge is appreciated. Thanks!
