I would tell him that we need to sit down and have a talk about something important that needs to be discussed. Be straight and honest and tell him your diagnosis. Print out the handout on here about Herpes and either let him read it or you read it to him. If he’s a real man, he will understand and will be with you regardless of it. I hope this helps dear!

I found out in February 2018 that I had been diagnosed with HSV 1 & 2. I had a horrible outbreak on my vagina and was freaking out so I went to the Doctor. They did a swab and it hurt like hell. She told me that it was Genital Warts (HSV 2) and that there isn’t a cure, but you can live with it. You use your cream and take your medicine. You can have outbreaks from time to time or it have anymore after your first initial outbreak. Try not to stress dear.

Hello! I just finished reading your post. At least she told you about her condition and didn’t hide it from you. Secondly you need to visit your Doctor for a visual and blood work examination to see if you have it. Some people never have signs of it and that’s how they contract the disease itself and then spread it about. Just find out from your Doctor and if you don’t have it, then that’s awesome, move on. If you do have it, use the cream and take your meds for it.

I recently got diagnosed with HSV 1 & 2 on February 21, 2018. I felt so ashamed and felt like a dirty person. I’m struggling with it and I just seem to can’t get past the fact that I have it. I have been called a lot of nasty names and I thought “bullying” would stop, but as adults that seems to not be the case. I am in the Georgia area and would love to meet people of the same. I don’t want to feel this way. :/
