I just found out on Tuesday that an undiagnosed skin condition (or so I had thought) is HSV1. It literally covers my chest, back behind my ears and my trunk. I don’t even know what to think. My doctor said my labs were irregularly high. She said she has seen hsv1 be as high as 9 mine is 45. I have had as many 4 biopsies and so much blood work and never was tested until I started seeing a new doctor. I feel so dirty and don’t know what to think. I don’t even want to touch any part of my skin.

Hello!

I am so sorry to hear that you are struggling. I am happy that you finally got to figure out what your skin condition actually is, because hopefully now it can be managed with antiviral medication. Did your doctor prescribed you anything to help?

You are not dirty or disgusting. You are pure and worthy of love and happiness. It will get better. We are all here to support you!!

Sending Love and Happiness! ❤️🌄🍀🌈☀️🌼

Hi Again!

Yay! I am happy to hear that. Symptoms and sores should start going away soon. The sores may start to scab or ooze, so just be prepared. That is all normal and expected.

I was doing some research and there are many viruses related to HSV that can cause sores on the chest and back. Have you been tested for other viral infections?

In the mean time, be kind to yourself. Counter the negative thoughts with positive ones. I know you may be thinking you are dirty, unwanted, and vulgar, but counter that with, "I am wanted, beautiful, worthy, and pure."

We are all here for you!

Sending peace and self-acceptance! 🌼☀️🌄🍀❤️

I hope so. I’m not entirely sure what all I’ve been tested for. I know my HIV, Hep Tests (all the different ones) chlamydia, all of that have come back negative. It’s frustrating. Ive had liver function tests and rheumatological testing. Idk it’s been 3 years of blood work and biopsies.

Thank you. I had a follow up appt today with her that I asked a bunch of questions to. She said my situation is quite rare and it’s systemic. She told me to manage my stress (easier said than done) and I’m trying to process everything. My therapist is out for 10 days on vacation so I guess it will just be an adjustment.

Aw gosh! Okay. I'm glad you got to ask questions. Stay strong!! I recommend tapping, an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). It might seem a little out there but it works wonders. Check out Brad Yates on YouTube it's really meditative!!

Sending blessings your way! 🌄
