How does herpes evolve

Recommended Posts

So I've had herpes 10 years and it has definitely lessened to that I'm not even sure I have proper outbreaks anymore. I use to get a small blister every few months in the early days but over the last 3 years no blisters.  Just the occasional itchy bump once or twice a year.  How has everyone else's herpes changed over time?  If it is transmitted is it transmitted as a weaker variant meaning it would not be as debilitating ?  At the moment I don't have obvious signs.. Like no blisters... but I have always found with a herpes outbreak my vag lips are swollen... meaning I'm so horny all the time! Anyone else get this!

Hi!

Great questions!

So, your viral load shed can decrease over time, which decreases the likelihood of potentially passing it to a partner. Many folks have found that their symptoms and frequency of outbreaks reduce as time passes.

Although the symptoms are mild for you, it doesn't mean that the virus would necessarily produce mild symptoms in someone whom receives the virus.

I hope this helps!

Blessings to you ☘️☮️🌈!
