I was actually wondering if others experienced more OBs with birthcontrol. I stopped taking yasmin. It made me vety hormonal and emotional. After i stopped taking it it i havent broke out as however i stoll feel prodome symptoms

Anyone else find that birth control causes more OBs?

@tNd For me personally I think my birth control pills helped with my outbreaks (although I haven't fully tested this theory yet). Since my first OB i have had one almost every month usually the week after my period. The one month I didn't I had taken my BC straight through to try and prevent my cycle from coming since I was vacationing oversees. I then stopped taking the BC for unrelated issues they were causing (I was on yasmin and tried a few others). Since stopping I have again had OBs around my cycle which I hear is normal due to the changing hormone levels. In your case I guess it could have the opposite effect as well. I plan on seeing an infectious disease specialist to look into some causes and possible solution besides suppression therapy to get this under control.

Yeah my birth control pills work fine. I am on seasonale and at first I thought it would not help because of the "silent period" but in the end I don't get as much pain and stress on my body as my normal period.

Which is the reason I am on this type in the first place, because I would miss school and everything because of my periods.
