So, I saw something while roaming the internet a few months back. You were supposed to do this at the start of the new year, but hey, better late than never.

 

So what you do is find a jar, put a hole in the lid of said jar, and every day for a year, or until dec 31st, you write something on a small piece of paper, it can be something you are thankful for, good moments, bad moments or something along those lines; as long as you put something in the jar. At the end of the year, you open the jar and read everything. I think It would be interesting to look back and see what you wrote over the year. So has anyone ever done something like this?

 

An example would be like, Jan 1, passed test; Jan 2, bad day at work; Jan 3, almost got ran off the road; Jan 4, drank to much last night....etc etc

Yep, journaling is the way to go as far as I'm concerned. Sometimes it'll be just a sentence, but other times it'll be a few pages. And it is an awesome way for me to see myself, my patterns and my life more from a third party perspective. It's super powerful.
