Ok - so this is a

 

Press Release" website...ie, ADVERTISING...

 

IMO it's just another snake oil "cure". They are using a fact-based study to get people in and then convince you that their product will take care of all your ills. It *may* have antiviral qualities but so do many other supplements.

 

The ingredients are:

 

A capsule of Gene-Eden-VIR includes five natural ingredients: 100 mg of quercetin, 150 mg of green tea extract, 50 mg of a cinnamon extract, 25 mg of a licorice extract, and 100 mcg of selenium. The dosage was 1, 2, 3, or 4 capsules per day

 

And I've learned to be cautious of "Peer Reviewed Journals". ANYONE can publish a "journal" (many companies have their own journals that are published to look like they are independent!) ... If it's not in something like the New England Journal of Medicine or a similar REAL medical journal, I am always skeptical,:/
