Herpes and tampons?

Is it safe to use tampons or will that trigger a herpes outbreak?

Yes it is safe to use. I even use my diva cup with no problems. As far as will it trigger, that would depend on the person. Just give it a try if it bothers you then you may need to use sonething else for your cycle.

I definitely still use tampons. Actually I heard that most women who use pads tend to get outbreaks during their period because of how wet and moist it gets and triggers an outbreak. I don't have any problems while using tampons !

You guys were right I used one for the 1st since my first ob and it was fine
