tiny bumps on my upper lip line

i'm new to the herpes crew and i believe i'm in the beginning stages of an outbreak. i really can't run to acyclivor(?) every second i feel something because i don't have a job at the moment. I normally get an ob around my lips once a month some where around the 3rd week of the month so I feel like its ready to break out! I've been taking lysine pills and i upped it to 3 times a day but what else can I do or use to make the bumps go down before they get ugly?

Hello again neverjaded lol. I responded to your last post. I do not have HSV1, but my little sister does and when she has an OB she drowns it in abreva then when it looks like it's starting to heal a bit she uses organic coconut oil. I hope this works for you!

Abreva is over the counter from what I know, and effective.

It's cool. lol. And between $18 to $22... I don't know exactly and I guess it depends on the drugstore. I know some have the little discount cards as well

You may be able to go online and get a Rx Discount card ... they are free and you might be able to afford the acyclovir when you need it ..

 

When I was young my mother was told to use Ammonium Alum on my cold sores... if you can find it it lasts forever and it dries them right out. Otherwise I'd try the Abreva option :)
