I'm so glad you're feeling empowered watching the video, Kilogold! We can certainly support one another in this process just by being more and more unapologetically and humbly ourselves. For some, their healing process includes coming out to the world like Cicily, while for others it includes living a more and more free life, with connection to those who matter without the psychological blocks to love that herpes can create if we allow it to. Regardless of where our healing process takes each of us, to be able to share that process with our community is POWERFUL HEALING. A huge component to healing shame happens in community. It's ultimately driving home the point "You are perfect in your imperfection. You are okay."
