Did I give my child herpes?

I was trying to wash my daughters face and i think my herpes on my hand touched her lip can my baby get herpes now? I am so scared please someone help me.

Dora08 dont be scared. It does need skin to skin contact in order to catch the virus. I mean its possible she could get it but I bet you that your mind is playing more tricks on you than you think.

 

I have to say I used to be so very OCD when it came to H and thinking I would get it everywhere and that was because I had a weak mind. You probably didn't even have contact with her like that but because you "think" it touched her lip you are scared. It's ok, she will be fine even if she does catch it. Hang in there I know it can be tough.
