Herpes outbreaks and pubic hair?

I typically go au naturel down below, and have been noticing some irritation. Didn't know if anyone else has experienced this or if it makes a difference to shave?

Some people report that shaving causes OB's - at the same time, hair holds in heat and moisture and could irritate the area and help H to come out. I would try trimming first... short enough to allow air flow (seeing as you like to be natural) ... but not so short that the skin gets irritated... that may be all you need to do to help it to settle down. Going commando when you can will help too ;)
