Does this look like a cold sore?

A couple of days ago I started to notice something on my lower lip. I have spent the past two days looking at pictures of canker sores, cold sores and lip pimples to see what it could be. It's a holiday in Canada today so I cannot go to the doctor. No matter what anyone on this forum says, I am going to go to the doctor this week to confirm what it is. However, I was wondering if I could get some input from people on this forum as to whether the thing on my lip looks like a cold sore or not?

 

From the pictures I have seen, it looks a lot more like a pimple than a cold sore. I even have a pimple on my cheek that looks a lot like this thing on my lip and a couple of pimples throughout my body that look similar. However, I also know that it could just be wishful thinking by me.

 

As I said, I know that nobody on this forum will be able to give me a definitive answer and I will be going to the doctor no matter what. However, I would appreciate any input that you guys may have!

I personally think its just a pimple as it looks like it has a white head. But thats just my opinion!

Looks like a pimple but it's a good idea to get it swabbed AND while you are there go ahead and ask to be blood tested for Herpes as it's unlikely you have been tested anyway....

Thanks everyone for your replies. I'll get tested this week and come back with my results one way or the other
