.Need advice, help please!!

I got diagnosed with hsv 1 about 6 months ago. I took my prescription medicine for my first out break and the bumps went away. About a month or longer ago I had a recurring out break in the same spot. This time though, it has bumps that don't seem to go away. I've read that bumps take 2-4 weeks to heal. It's been longer than that for me, so im wondering if anyone else has had this problem? My obgyn said it wasn't hpv, but I'm scared because it left behind bumps. does anyone know how to cure these bumps? What kind of topical cream would be good to use for this problem? I am not currently using any prescription medication at the moment, any recommendations for a good medicine that has seemed to work good for you?

I personally like Ammonium Alum (link below to Alum discussion and one supplier on Amazon) as it dries things up ... so you can try that if you think that it's a long "OB" that isn't quite healing up

 

and it may just be a bit of scarring that needs to calm down .... in which case coconut oil or aloe cream may help
