I just discovered that i have hvs1 and hvs2. My first outbreak was at the beginning of december 2015 on mouth and the penis head only. I did not have any outbreak since then. my questions are: 1- my igg is positive for h1 and h2 but my img are both negative. What than means?. 2- can i give and recieve oral in this case?. What s the risk? 3- i have no symptons since the first outbreak but i take valacyclovir 500gm once a day, just to feel relaxed as i am new to this. whats your adivce?. 4- using same cups or cigarettes or waterpipe at same moment with others, is it risky to transmit to them hvs1 or 2. Thanks for your help

A negative IgM and positive IgG means that you've had the virus long enough for those secondary antibodies to be kicked in. If it were reversed, it would be a new/recent infection.

It's been awhile since I've been on the forum so I'm a little rusty at the advice part but I'm going to say you should not have any unprotected oral or sex period without informing your partner that you are positive for both.

The risk question I will leave to the pros.

I wouldn't think sharing a cigarette or cup would be risky unless you are currently having an outbreak.
