Has anyone tried any of those herpes dating sites and if so, are they safe and confidential?

I signed up for positive singles. I think I replied to one email I received and that was it. I wasn't really looking for a hook up, just wanted to see how it worked. It's seemed legit but I can't say much about the confidentiality part. Once you post your picture I'm not sure who can view it. I didn't post one, but you can send them out later to people who inquire. I had a few inquiries, but never followed up or posted a picture. I ended up deleting the account. I know a few people have gone that route on the forum so maybe someone else has more insight.
