Scars from first outbreak

I had my first outbreak about 10 months ago.

 

The huge cluster of blisters on my butt cheek crusted over and went away, but 10 months later i still have the remants.

 

Its a bunch brown patches where the outbreak used to be. Similar to brown acne scars but bigger.

My question is, do the scars ever go away or are they permanent???

Normally outbreaks do not causes scars. There have been instances where people have continued to pick at them or itch them and it could leave a mark if you damaged the skin. Or if you had a secondary infection. Most of the time though, it fades.

I touched the outbreak, but i definitely did not pick at them or scratch them.

 

how long does it usually take for scars to fade?

the ones i have dont seem to be fading, theyre the same they were a couple months ago.

I'm guessing it depends on the person. How do you normally heal? Do you scar easily from other things? I wish I could give you a time frame, but I can't.

There are a few scar removal creams out there....kind of pricy. You can Google them. People use them on stretch marks as well
