Dr appointment today and feeling super scared

Hey all,

 

So it's been about two years where in and off I would get a bump or two at the very back of the vaginal opening. The first time I thought it was just a tear after having sex with my boyfriend. Didn't think anything of it. Then it happened again and I though it was an irritation from shaving. It tended to happen always after shaving so I switched shaving cream and got a more sensitive kind. The bumps then stopped. And I thought great I figured out the problem. Like I said it was only one or two and never really looked like a blister. I get cold sores, but never on my miurh, they've always been in my nose. Weird...I know. And they always seem to come about when I'm sick and constantly blowing my nose.

 

So these bumps subsided for a long time, but now again just came back recently. This time there is more than ever has been before. I have an appointment today at my gyn. I'm literally terrified.... I was having hot flashes just thinking about everything and barely slept. I know it's not that bad, but I can't help but think it's going to ruin my life. I am already 30 and single and can only think this is going to keep me from finding anyone at all now. I'm praying it's not hsv2 but I honestly don't know what else it could be.

 

Of course googling and looking at pictures it never looks like what you see, and I know those are usually very severe cases. The only way I know there's anything there is by shining a light there and seeing where there is an ulcer like circle. When they are bumps it looks like a pinhole in the center. I'm just literally terrified. My bf where I first noticed has never said anything to me, we were together about a year and half before that and continued to be together about a year and half after. We have since broken up and I feel like there would be a very high chance he would have had something in all that time of having sex together. But again i know not everyone shows symptoms. Just looking for some advice and support I guess. Thanks y'all
