need help understanding results

Recommended Posts

My understanding is that results between .90 and 3.5 can *potentially* be false positives, with false positives more likely when closer to .90 and less likely when closer to 3.5. Values above 3.5 are very rarely false positives.

It's also my understanding that results are most accurate 16+ weeks after infection, so a value in the range between .90 and 3.5 could reflect a recently acquired infection, prior to the 16-week mark.
