I signed the petition the day I was diagnosed! Thankfully my symptoms are mild, my pain and anxiety stem from having to tell my boyfriend of six months who I've been having unprotected sex with (I had no idea I had it). I had symptoms for the first time after we had sex but I don't think it could be from him. I haven't cheated but I know he will accuse me of it and hate me forever if he has it. We were supposed to get engaged soon. :( I'm falling apart and don't know if I want to live anymore.

That is what the say. I'm semi-embarrassed saying it here bc I know people have it worse than I do. However, I reacted much the same you are and I still don't feel like me.

First couple of weeks I had no appetite either. 3 years later, I can barely remember those times - things go back to normal, don't worry.

Sorry to hear it, and I know its tough.. I made it into the worst period of my life. Saying that now, I must've had an easy life! Keep your chin up, take optimist's advice from the other thread and get that appetite back.

I understand. I haven't eaten much in 3 days and lost 10 pounds already. Try to eat something though because what happens when you starve yourself your body overcompensates and later when you're feeling better your body will be calibrated to eat more than you would have before the no eating period. It's a form of self-defense by the body against starvation.

Don't put your body under more stress because this "disease" feeds off that. It slowly gets better-2 years in and still have my rough days but then I remember the brilliant intelligent attractive woman that I am :)
