Western Blot test came back negative for herpes, but...

I have had a girlfriend for about 6 months. Prior to her I only had sex with 1 girl (in October of 2012) in a years time. About 3 months ago my girlfriend tested inconclusive for Chlamydia. I got tested and came back positive for HSV 2. In March, I got a Western Blot done. It came back negative. That brings me to today. I noticed about 5 small, red bumps with blackish/brown dots in the middle of them on the shaft of my penis. No burning, itching or fluid. They almost look like ingrown hairs. Could this be a bacteria/fungal infection? An allergy to something? I recently started using a soap with tee tree oil in and has been known to give people unusual reactions. I am kind of concered.

The only way you are going to know for sure djames is to check with your doctor. Rather than making yourself crazy trying to figure it out, just get it checked and see what they say. I know that feeling though of being paranoid about every itch, tingle, pimple or mark and wondering....... It's crazy making.

Yea it is driving me mad. I will make an appointment this week. The fact that the WB was negative is the only thing keeping me sane right now!

djames, once you see the doctor you will feel better. And hon, even if it's positive for herpes, trust me, it's not the end of the world. In many ways, it can be a blessing in disguise. Let us know what you find out.
