Dealing with symptoms similar to herpes, need opinions!

Hi, I am new to this forum. I am experiencing some symptoms that sound very similar to a herpes outbreak and I need some advice.

What I first noticed was the skin around my vagina burning when I'd pee and the urine would come in contact with the skin. It also burns when I'm in the shower and any water hits that area. I took a mirror and looked to see what was going on and saw that the skin along the inner part of my vaginal area was very raw and slightly bloody. I also noticed a small amount of blood any time I'd wipe. I finally got a good look down there with a mirror and I saw several small red bumps along the inner part of my vagina. There is one bump near my butt that is the most bothersome. The bumps are not filled with any sort of liquid, they are flat and raw.

I've been crying over this entire thing since I've been reading about the symptoms of herpes and I just don't know what to think. The thing that throws me off is that I haven't been sexually active in several months. I know that it can remain dormant for a while, but I also read that most outbreaks happen about 2-20 days after initial contact. I plan on making an appointment with my local planned parenthood tomorrow morning. In the meantime I'd just really like to hear any feedback that I can get on this. I am honestly freaking out! :(
