Looking for some input- does this look like cold sores to you?

Currently have a small raised bump on my left lower lip. No pain, no tingling, not itchy. Haven't changed my diet at all or used new chapstick. The skin on the outside of the bump is dry though. When I flatten out my lip the bump has a deep purple or dark blue appearance inside the skin of the lip. It initially presented around 5 days ago with a patch of dark red, dry skin that eventually shed off and is now leaving this. Throughout the past 5 days, there has been no pain or blistering which I was specifically looking for since I initially suspected a cold sore, although I've never had one before. Thanks.
