HRT and outbreaks

Can HRT inserts cause a genital outbreak? I've been on Yuvafem generic for Vagifem and I seem to get OB symptoms a day after.

I’m under the suspicion that these products can cause an outbreak. I am not on HRT, however it was not until I removed my Nuvaring and within 2 days I experienced my first outbreak.

I’m wondering  now when I came in contact with hsv being I’ve had some reactions down there on and off this past year that maybe they could they have been OBs I didn’t know I had it. I’ve been experiencing OBs continuously since July and I’m just freaked out about all this!! Why didn’t I feel this before!!

Yes, it would make sense to me that anything that messes with hormone levels would be a trigger for outbreaks since it's quite common for women's cycles contribute to herpes outbreaks.
