I got a call today my infectious disease doctor regarding my blood work from last week. He said my blood work cane back negative. He said he checks for the virus in the blood and there is no virus in my system but blood work from 2 weeks ago tested positive.... I’m confused

I Believe in God so maybe God healed you. or maybe you was misdiagnoised.

I have prayed harder than I have ever prayed my entire life. He said he doesn’t wanna go into detail over the phone bc it’s condidenrial personal information so I’m going to see him next Saturday. But he said what he is giving me is good news. 

 

Coukd it be? I do t think a swab can be misdiagnosed though

I just hope you were misdiagnoised. I hope you find happiness. but just my opinion here but I would try and be safe.

A swab can't be misdiagnosed, but a blood test can.

I guess it depends on how long you wait when you get your lesions swabbed. I think the sooner you get it swabbed the more accurate it is.

@sarahsfocus I went I would say 5 days after and it came back positive. I went to a new gyno yesterday showed her my results and she said based on past lab work I have it but she wants to see the results from the infectious disease doctor

maybe you were misdiagnosed and you don't have hsv1. I know I have hsv1 because I get cold sores. I wish God would heal me. my sister has to go back to the doctor to be retested and see if she still has hsv2.(she was negative when she took her igg test) I am thinking about buying one of them home herpes test. I get paranoid sometimes.

so you have hsv1 and 2? I understand why your confused. I sure hope you really are Negative  this disease really wrecks your mind and emotions. please pray that my sister is Negative also.hugs.

No I get that but blood work I told in sept 12 and sept 26 were positive. The one from 10/10 was negative

what I was saying was the swab could be misdiagnosed because you could wait until the sore is healing up.i googled it and the pcr test is accurate.

Pcr is the swan? Sarah how is your sister?

she is doing ok. pcr is more accurate than the iGg  test.
