When do I consider my first OB over?

So, I was just diagnosed a week ago. My outbreak started 2 weeks ago. I haven't seen any sores in about 5 days. At what point do I consider my outbreak over? The area where the sores were was more sensitive the last few days but less and less each day. 

Also, any advice for sex the first time after your outbreak would be greatly appreciated.
