Hi Herpes Viral Friends,

I have Herpes 2! Yay! Lol! What a wonderful treat the universe gave me! That being said I'm still here I'm still me so herpes will not defy me!

Anywayyyyy! My partner has never shown signs of Herpes, he has asked to be tested but they won't (uk lady here, they just don't do it) I don't know who  I got it from etc etc you have heard this all before.

Now I like to give oral sex, before my diagnoses I did it alot....and never a tingle of my lip. I haven't since. But I want to......is it safe, he shows no signs and may never have it? Am I safe to do it? Will I then get hsv2 in my mouth.

Equally he like to be down there......can he or will he get it in his mouth and if he kisses me straight away will I get it in my mouth?

We don't use condoms, a choice we made together. We are in that stage of our relationship.

Any advice is welcome, positive or negative please give me the facts. But comment on this post with love....please don't come with depressive thoughts just facts.

Peace and love my friends and thank you ✌❤

Hi,

From the research I have done hsv1 is oral and hsv2 is genital.

Hsv1 can be transferred through oral sex to genitals to then get hsv2 but genital herpes usually only stays from the waist down but has a very small percentage that it could be transferred to the mouth from oral sex but usually you have the anti bodies to fight infection if you are already diagnosed with genital herpes hsv2. I also live in the uk and herpes.org.uk is very helpful and you can also contact them who will help answer any questions that you may have they are brilliant!
