Newly diagnosed and in a relationship- how do I move forward

I was just diagnosed a week ago. I’ve been dating a guy for 3 years. I’m not sure if he’s an asymptomatic carrier or if someone I was with previously gave it to me and the initial ob just popped up years later. We have had unprotected sex previously. He’s been very understanding of the new diagnosis- I still am worried what he thinks. I’m sure it’s my own insecurities in my head where I don’t feel loveable or sexy. How did you all start being intimate with your partners again after with the worry of passing it to them. Even with suppressive therapy and condoms there is still a chance to pass on it, I would feel horrible if I gave this to him. Any advice would be much appreciate.

I’d say have him get a blood test to see if he’s +...if he is you can set your worries aside
