  1. Its very possible that one of them could have had it and not known. Dont beat yourself up we live and learn. I would even say something like ive been feeling weird since we had sex have you guys been tested recently? If they say no, make a suggestion to get tested for everything including herpes since it is NOT standard. Things will get better even if you come back positive. Lots of support here!

  2. You know, I was like you. Ignorant to what I saw. I saw it a single scab at that and I asked what it was he told me it was from masterbating. He was my bf, why would he lie. Turns out he was never diagnosed until I confronted him in tears. So your not alone. Yes like you I constantly think of that day. I have no regret from it, because I don't want to carry that burden of what I should have done. Its done. It hurts at times, but it's here to stay. I Im not done reading yet but I wanted youto know that you aren't alone.

  3. "And no, Ghsv1 won't turn into Ghsv2 - they are two different viruses. Not sure what you mean about each having their own herpes to begin with."

Well I was referring to my own situation with this question the doctor told me that I had ghsv2 but when my BF went to the doctor he was told he had ghvs1 he had no outbreak at the time just blood test. So maybe I had it and just so happen to outbreak a few days after. Which still confuses me because my numbers were low he said indicating an initial outbreak. 0_o. Yep that's my face confused lol

  4. HI all! I'm inquisitive by nature and have come up with some questions.

I'm a bit curious about breastfeeding. I understand that when you breastfeed you transfer antibodies to the baby though the milk. Does this work for herpes also? I googled my life away and found no solid answers.

Also is it possible to transfer ghsv1 to another person and it turn into ghsv2. Or would each person initially have their own herpes to begin with?

Is it normal that outbreak bumps look different each time you outbreak? For example my initial outbreak on my labia minora was small in size but today i'm experiencing 2 bump the size of a pin head literally on my labia majora. I did not even see it there I just happen to touch myself washing and felt pain. Is this normal to change size as years go on?

    THANKS in advance!

  5. Hi all im a newbie. I received my gift this past sept hsv2. Fortunately, I haven't had another herpes outbreak since. what is happening to me is alternating leg/thigh sensitivity. Its so sensitive that it hurts to the touch. Wearing pants or having something even brush against my leg makes me cringe :(. Is this going to happen forever? Is this my prodrome symptom? I usually take valtrex 2x a day for 3 days and then it goes away. Does anyone else experience this?
