  1. All though my blood test showed that I was H-, I still get tingly sensations on my balls everyday. This started all the way from mid-October. I know the feeling, drives me crazy and can't focus on anything. I'm still not convinced that I don't have it.

I don't know if its common, but one of the symptoms is a sore lower back.

  2. I picked up my results today. The lab was done four days ago.

    Results:

HSV Type 2-Specific Ab, IgG <.91

HSV Type 1-Specific Ab, IgG <.91

    HSV, IgM I/II Combination <.91

I also had the same numbers when I got tested in September.

I started feeling tingly sensations near my scrotum Mid-October. That was also the last time we (girl who told me she had genital herpes) had sexual intercourse. I was still seeing her and received oral sex from her (said she didn't get cold sores). The last time she gave me oral sex was 5-6 weeks ago.

Should I trust these lab reports? I showed my doctor a picture of the "paper cut" on my scrotum, but he said that it might have been eczema. There was nothing there to swab, couldn't even notice it, which is why I showed him the picture. I posted that picture on another herpes community website, and was told that it looks like herpes (possibly HSV1 on genitals). I understand they're not doctors, but not sure what to think right now. Are these sensations all in my head?

  3. I recently came across a question asking about "paper cut" herpes. I tried doing research on it myself , but could not find any information from reliable sources. A few days ago I found, what looked to be like a paper cut on my scrotum. I would post a picture, but I do not think that is allowed. Has anyone ever heard about this before?

  4. @MMissouri Yep, that stat is the reason why I asked this question.

@ivoryrain Well, this isn't going to help ease my paranoia haha. I'm still unsure about "mild symptoms". From what I know, the first outbreak is suppose to be painful and easy to notice. But looking at the CDC stat, it would seem that many people with HSV-2 don't have painful symptoms, if even any at all.

  5. -I've been with a girl who has HSV2. We started having sex late April through early August, sometimes without condoms (She told me about it late august).

-I got tested and it came back negative

-Kept seeing her after that, had sex, but with condoms.

-last month, the condom broke, and the next morning, I started feeling a tingly sensation on my scrotum and near my anus. ( I'm aware that HSV2 takes 2-3 days before showing symptoms).

-I still feel these sensations to this day (I'm also aware that itchy/tingly sensation do not last for more then 2 days)

-There are no sores/lesions where I feel the sensation.

-However, I've been to the doctor 5-6 times in the last few weeks and showed him some of the pimples I have on my thighs. He said that they are just ingrown hairs. He also said that the sensations are in my head (It's possible, but I don't know why its been dragging on for a month long)

-I was also seeing another girl. I had sex with her maybe 3 or 4 times after I started having sex with the girl who has HSV2.

-She said that she tested positive for HSV on her pap smear (didn't mention which type). The doctor told her that she does not have an OB, but that she is a carrier. She is going for a blood test for more accurate results.

*Just to be clear, I was friends with benefits with both girls. I was never in a monogamous relationship with either one.

I do have some ingrown hairs on my thighs, but these just seem different

What are your thoughts? Should I go see a urologist?
