that was the research I read, in many journals, and dr. wald in seattle was none too happy about it. (seemed to be extraordinarily safe, effective, and really knocked down silent shedding rate. check it out, don't take my word for it.

it was may 2013 fda shut down pritelivir testing because of monkeys having problems with 900 times the human dosage. has there been any pritelivir updates? thanks.

thanks dancer. I have never suffered prodomes or any pain(unless shower was directly beating on it when active)so only know of activity by visual outbreak. take suppressive for some peace of mind.

thank you to all. getting on the forum has already helped me drop some distortions that I've lived with forever and buck up to the future (thanks dancer). question: any idea on the amount of time for safety and efficacy of daily suppressive valacyclovir? I do drink a lot of water for the kidneys. thanks all.

hi dancer, thanks for your input. the h and associated problems laid the depression on me. I thought, as time went by, more effective treatment would come out and put the brakes on this. that's been a no go and too much time that I can't get back has gone by. I've read your posts on living your life now ! and don't seem to know how and admit i'm scared. been getting help for depression and don't know if it helps. I just want to live. thanks for being there, I need it
