I am bi, I know men can wear condoms to help lower the odds of transmission but what do two women do?

Can I spread hsv2 to my grandson when changing his diaper? I get cuts on my hands often, I have been washing my hands almost every 15 minutes since I found out, can't seem to stop that either.

@mmissouri.... my husband thinks I'm overreacting, he hates seeing me having such a hard time with this. He is the type that says "it is what it is" and just moves on, I just can't do this.

I had the blood test that came back positive....I just know set up an appointment for a swab to be sure.

 

It's been 3 weeks since I found out I was positive but can't seem to wrap my head around it......I'm paranoid about passing it on, I dudley get on the preventative medicine right away but can't seem to bring myself to have protected sex with my husband....

 

How long did it take to come to terms with this , please share

I notice that I read alot about ....preventative medicine.... my doctor did not prescribe any medicine, she said she would if I felt it necessary. What types of medicine is the most popular, I really don't want to wait for an outbreak to get started.

Just found out I have hsv1 and 2.....I have not had an outbreak yet.

 

My question is about washing in the shower......do I need to get seperate washcloths to clean the genital area, I read that it can spread to other parts of your body. What if my daughter accidentally uses one of my washcloths? Is she in danger?

 

I have been doing so much research that I feel overwhelmed and honestly finding it hard to determine what is fact or fiction.

I am in a poly relationship, I just found out that I am hsv 1 and 2 positive. I feel ashamed and mortified. I have been in the swing lifestyle for years and get tested.....obviously not frequently enough. My h u stand tested negative, still waiting for boyfriends test to come back. How do I tell the people I have had sexual interaction with? Any suggestions? I j u still don't know what to do next

I now need to tell friends that I am positive. I know when my last negative test was but,I don't know where to start, these people are so special to me and I feel ashamed and mortified....

 

Any advice in how I should handle this?
