based on what i read and knew, if u have this virus before you get to know him , then ur blood rest should come back positive for sure.

If you have it from him, so he should tested positive too.

But both tested negative on blood test now?

As u know i tested HSV1 positive, HSV2 negative 5 months post exposure

 

Im worried maybe HSV2 igg didn't develop yet cause of the presence of HSV1

 

Is 5 months enough for HSV2 to develop despite the presence of hsv1 antibodies ???

Yes 3 days after exposure i had flu-like symptoms nd immediately went to the hospital, they took a swap nd results came back positive (Flu virus)

but no itches no blisters

 

5 months and 22 days after i did the test and was informed all came back negative except hsv 1

 

but now im afriad whether my hsv2 results are reliable at that time or should i take another test?

I called two doctors and i was like my blood results came back positive for HSV 1 bla bla

He was like : what about HSV2? I said negative

He asked when did i take the test? I said 5 month and 22 days post exposure

He said: " You are okay. HSV1 might be caught wheb u were a child nd so many ppl have it. so common. If u show symptoms come and see a doctor , bye"

Maybe u will see my post and Im really worried! but today my doctor told me to ignore HSV 1 as many many many ppl have it...He said his kid, who is 7 yesrs old, had it 4 years ago. Then he was like don't overthink it..so many ppl they have it and they don't know.

Seriously it is not THAT problem. Maybe if i take my kids and check their blood, it will come back positive!!!!You never know

I had sex without candom. Five months and 22 days post exposure I tested for STDs and came all negative except HSV 1 positive with 7

The results are as below

HSV 1/2 igm positive 2.4

HSV 1/2 igg positive 22

HSV1 igg positive. 7

HSV2 igg negative 0.11

 

The doctor said results are accurate at this time and no further tests are required. He also said that I need to ignore igm tests as they aren't reliable. plus he added that I have herpes 1 nd this is normal as most of ppl have it and I might got infected when i was a child. so he didn't pay me more attention
