I have never had an HSV-2 outbreak, been positive for HSV-1 since childhood and never had a noticeable outbreak or fever blister. I tested 1.24 this week for hsv-2 IGg. Per CDC requirements the lab did confirmation supplemental IGg testing. That test came Negative. the Lab sheet says, “Unable to confirm the presence of HSV-2 antibodies. Recommend re-testing in 2 to 4 weeks.” What can change in 2 to 4 weeks? Also I have been taking biotin 10,000 mcg supplements of for and nail health. I came across an article saying that biotin can interfere with blood tests.
